Why

The standard we hold

A repair that works today and fails in a month is not a repair. Laboratory and clinical equipment carries results, samples and sometimes patients, so we hold every job to the same standard whether it is an ultra-low freezer or a hotplate.

This page is what you can hold us to. If any of it is not met on a job we have done, tell us and we will come back.

Checklist

What every job includes

Calibrated, not just switched onAn instrument is checked against a reference before it is handed back — temperature against a calibrated probe, speed against a tachometer, wavelength against a known standard, balance linearity across the range. The readings are written down and left with you.
Traceable where traceability mattersFor accreditation and funded-project work we tell you plainly whether a check is a functional verification or a traceable calibration, and arrange the traceable route when it is required. We do not describe one as the other.
Electrical safety, checked and recordedEarth continuity, insulation resistance, correct fuse rating and correct cable gauge are verified on every mains instrument we touch. Anything that fails is corrected before handover, not noted for later.
Wiring done properly — no exceptionsCrimped ferrules and lugs, no twisted-and-taped joints, heat-shrink over every termination, cable routed and clipped away from heat and moving parts, numbered ferrules and labelled terminals so the next engineer can read the machine.
Correct parts, correctly ratedReplacements match or exceed the original rating — voltage, current, temperature class and tolerance. We do not fit an under-specified part because it is what the market had that day, and we tell you when a genuine part is worth waiting for.
Medical and laboratory practice on clinical workBiomedical equipment is serviced to the standard the clinical setting requires: functional safety checks, leakage-current testing where applicable, and no shortcut that could reach a patient or a sample.
Run under load before it leaves usThermal equipment gets a stability run at setpoint, refrigeration gets a pull-down and hold test with a leak check, and drives are run through their full range. Nothing is returned on the strength of “it powers up”.
Written record for your maintenance fileFault found, cause, parts replaced, test readings and before/after photographs — issued with the instrument, so your equipment register and audit trail stay complete.
A boundary we hold toWhere a repair needs a manufacturer’s authorisation, or falls under a regulated service such as radiological equipment, we say so and stop. An honest limit early is cheaper for you than a failed attempt.
Method

How a job runs

Free survey

An engineer visits your department, opens every non-working instrument on the list and tells you plainly which are revivable and which are not. You get a written inventory. There is no charge and no obligation.

Diagnosis before cost

The fault, the parts required, the price and the turnaround are put in writing before any work starts. If a repair is not economical, we say so.

Repair — on-site or workshop

Most faults are fixed in your lab, so the equipment never leaves the department. Board-level and component-level work goes to our Faisalabad workshop and comes back tested.

Test and handover

The instrument is run under load and its readings checked against its own specification — temperature stability, speed, wavelength accuracy, balance linearity — before we hand it back.

Annual maintenance (optional)

Scheduled preventive servicing through the year, so instruments do not fail in the middle of a semester or a funded project.
